Jeff is a Discord bot that settles debates, ranks lists, tags forum posts and answers questions from your FAQ, with the odds shown next to every answer. The hosted Jeff you add from this site and the dashboard at this site are run by the people at [email protected]. The bot itself is open source at https://github.com/saembit/jeff-bot and you can run your own copy under that license instead of these terms.

By adding Jeff to a server or signing in to the dashboard you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy, and you confirm you are allowed to manage that server. You also agree to Discord's own terms, since everything Jeff does happens there.

Don't use Jeff to harass people, to get around Discord's rules, to flood it with requests or to try to pull data out of it that isn't yours. Jeff can be removed from a server that does any of that, and a dashboard login can be closed.

Free servers get a number of requests per day for each kind of plugin, the numbers are shown on the dashboard next to each plugin and reset at midnight UTC. When a cap is hit Jeff says so and waits. A premium tier without caps is coming through Discord's own subscriptions, and when it is live the price and what it includes will be on the dashboard before you pay anything.

Every answer Jeff gives comes from a model and is shown with how sure it is. It can be wrong, it can be confidently wrong, and the thresholds on the dashboard are there so you decide how sure is sure enough. Jeff is not advice of any kind and you are responsible for what your server does with its answers. It may not be perfect but it's better than nothing.

Jeff is provided as it is. There is no promise that it stays up, that it keeps every feature or that it exists next year. As far as the law allows, the people running Jeff aren't liable for anything that happens because it answered, didn't answer or went away. If part of these terms can't be enforced the rest still applies.

These terms can change, the date at the top says when they last did, and keeping Jeff in your server after a change means you accept it. Questions go to [email protected]. jeff isn't affiliated with Discord or TypeSafe.
